I received my Master's in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2014. My clinical values are deeply rooted in the ethos of social work, which is that to understand any person, you must understand the context of their life. This includes your family of origin, socioeconomic status, any discrimination you face, and your religious or spiritual belief system. All of these parts of your life will be essential to bring into the therapy space to understand best what ails you and where we might find remedies within you and your community.
I know what it's like to feel stuck.
You know something needs to change- because you've been carrying all this guilt around for too long without any support. Maybe you've considered giving up a time or two- and that's why you're here. Either way, you're exhausted. And that makes sense.
If you're looking for a therapist who specializes in working with individuals who experienced hurt due to relational wounds, you're in the right place.
Many of the clients I work with struggle with complex attachment wounds, religious trauma and perfectionism disguised as strength. I work alongside my clients to address the root of the overwhelm and shame by offering intensive EMDR (for private-pay only), IFS-informed, holistic self-love practices and person-centered psychology that leads to experiencing true empowerment and connection to your intuition.
I am compassionate, approachable, and committed to providing a safe, nonjudgmental space. I value open communication, transparency, and collaboration, and I believe treatment works best when we make decisions together. My care is evidence-based and trauma-informed, focused on understanding the whole person and supporting meaningful, sustainable mental health improvement.
