Hello! I'm Cassie and I specialize in working with young adults and adults experiencing anxiety and stress, as well as men hoping to examine personal relationships in a safe, trusting space. I have vast experience working with a variety of presenting concerns with folks from many backgrounds, and utilize a unique, custom approach with each of my clients.
I am an experienced BILINGUAL social worker turned therapist as a licensed clinical social worker serving the Central Valley. With a background in both medical and behavioral health settings, I have a particular PASSION for supporting teens and women. My approach is grounded in cultural humility, compassion, and respect for the diverse experiences of individuals from multicultural and multiethnic communities.
I strive to provide a SUPPORTIVE and EMPOWERING space where clients can gain deeper self-awareness, build confidence and resilience, strengthen their sense of autonomy and overall well-being, and develop healthier coping strategies for managing life’s challenges. Through a COLLABORATIVE and PERSONALIZED approach, I help clients improve emotional regulation, navigate difficult transitions, and move toward meaningful and lasting growth.
I work primarily with children, adolescents, and families to promote growth and change. With over 25 years of experience in youth mental health and 11 years as a licensed psychologist, I support clients dealing with issues at home and school settings, disturbances in mood such as anxiety, depression, or anger, attention problems, behavior/conduct problems, family conflict, and autism.
As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life.
Hi, Im Cassondra Del Rosario or Cassie is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have a Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Alliant International University. I am trained in EMDR to support and help those heal from their trauma.
I believe in a person's ability to grow and as a clinician, the experience of guiding another in the process of growth, is invigorating and has fueled my passion for over 40 years in the helping professions. My education focused on addictions, and marriage, family, and child psychology and my work experience has included a variety of therapeutic settings and issues with adults, families, adolescents, and children.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I am trained to look at the whole picture. Because I am a trauma therapist who specializes in ADHD and highly sensitive nervous systems, the big picture to me means looking at the many parts that make up a person. Like someone healing their relationship with their external family, I am trained to help people heal their relationship with their family within–the angry parts of us, the depressed parts of us, the parts affected by ADHD, and the parts holding trauma. I’ve been practicing therapy for 14 years. During the first part of my career I worked as a trauma-focused child and family therapist, and I now bring those insights into the work I do with adults.
Therapy is serious work, but it doesn’t always have to feel heavy. Real change happens in a strong, trusting relationship where you feel safe, supported, and maybe even able to laugh along the way. I help clients struggling with self-image and self-esteem, and am especially passionate about working with people in all stages of recovery—whether newly sober or years into sobriety. Additionally, I'm EMDR trained and use this modality to guide clients in processing past traumatic experiences that negatively impact daily life. I also hold an MBA and incorporate financial psychology to explore the emotional impact of money on well-being.
I was born and raised in Montana and have a genuine passion for nature and the outdoors. I received my Bachelors in Psychology at Montana State University in 2001. I then pursued my Masters of Social Work degree and graduated in 2008 from the University of Montana. This graduate program had a focus on providing a social justice and integrated practitioner perspective. I have an eclectic style that can be tailored to each unique individual. My primary therapeutic methods include Mindfulness Based, Holistic, Exposure, Narrative, Cognitive and Behavioral, Strengths Based & Solution Focused Therapies. I provide a non-judgmental and compassionate environment that often helps people feel comfortable. A true passion of mine is structuring therapeutic activities for clients to express, process, increase self-awareness, and de-stress from life’s challenging and developmental experiences.
