I believe that struggles with mental health can make us feel like we’re on the outside looking in — different, misunderstood, or even broken.
Many of the people I work with identify as the “black sheep” in their families or communities — thoughtful, self-aware, but carrying more than they should have to on their own.
My goal is to help you shift how you see those experiences. What feels like a weakness or flaw often has the potential to become a source of strength, insight, and growth.
I specialize in working with people who feel like they don’t quite fit in.
I have dual Master’s Degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Education. My background in education consist of teaching elementary and middle school children, which allows me to connect with children and adolescents very easily. I also have worked with parents and guardians to overcome hurdles associated with parenting and kinship care.
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
― Viktor E. Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning
I am a firm believer that life–even the best of lives– has moments of pain and suffering; however great or small. Some come to pass quickly and float away from our consciousness, while others stay with us, shape us, change our relationships and the way we see the world. The rest of our life is filled with moments dependent on how we cope with, process and accept those moments of pain or suffering.
Hi, I’m Michelle, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My work sits at the intersection of identity, body, and healing. I specialize in LGBTQ+ affirming care, trauma recovery, chronic illness, and women’s mental health, including perinatal care. My particular focus is on neurodivergent individuals, including those who were identified later in life or came to that understanding on their own. As a neurodivergent person myself, I bring lived experience and genuine empathy to my practice, ensuring you feel truly seen and supported in a world that isn't always built for your unique mind or body.
Hi, I’m Abigail, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas specializing in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I work with individuals navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, emotional challenges, and the everyday pressures that can feel overwhelming at times.
I became a therapist to be safe space for people who didn't feel like they had one. I earned my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy so I could be equipped to help couples navigate their struggles and be that safe space for anyone who needed it. No one should feel like they have to do life alone.
I am deeply passionate about supporting parents as they navigate the many challenges that can come with raising a family while maintaining healthy, loving relationships with their children. Balancing the constant demands of parenting while also trying to care for your own needs, identity, and well-being can be incredibly exhausting. Many parents find themselves feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or disconnected from the version of themselves they once knew.
What I’ve discovered through my work with parents and families—and through my own experience as a mom of two—is that prioritizing a parent’s mental health is not selfish; it is one of the greatest gifts you can give your child. When parents feel supported, healthy, and emotionally grounded, it creates the foundation for a stronger, more connected, and more rewarding parent-child relationship.
Clients should know that I am a therapist who both supports and gently challenges them, because I believe growth happens when we are willing to look at our thoughts, patterns, and behaviors honestly. I strive to create a safe, warm space while also helping clients push past comfort zones in a healthy and empowering way. I bring joyful, positive energy into sessions and hope clients feel encouraged, understood, and capable of change
