I believe in the strength and grit that brought you here—and I trust that the same inner resources that carried you here can help you build the life you truly want. I work with emerging adults and motivated seekers who’ve read the books, followed the advice, and tried to fix it all, yet still feel something is missing. You don’t need another voice telling you what to do—you need someone who can help you hear your own. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong.” It’s about uncovering what’s been hidden, reconnecting with your inner resources, and moving forward with clarity and confidence.
Hi, I’m Charity, and I specialize in helping individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I use a solution-focused therapy approach that emphasizes your strengths and the progress you’re already making, even when it may feel hard to see. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based practices to help you stay grounded, build self-awareness, and manage stress in healthier, more intentional ways.
I believe that therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and tailored to you. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or just unsure of where to go next, we’ll work together to identify clear, achievable goals and take meaningful steps toward the life you want.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a proud parent of four amazing kids, ages 17, 10, 10, and 2. My youngest is on the autism spectrum, which has deepened my understanding of neurodiversity, parenting stress, and the importance of flexibility and compassion. When I’m not working or parenting, I love attending comic cons and trying new foods, whether that’s a new local spot or a dish I’ve never made before.
If you’re looking for a supportive, down-to-earth therapist who will help you focus on what’s possible (not just what’s painful), I’d be honored to work with you. At this time I do not provide couples counseling.
I am accepting new appointments for teens (15+), individual adults, and couples.

Life is hard and sometimes scary. We all need a safe place to get support and help. I am here to walk alongside you and navigate the uncertainty.
I have a BA in sociology from The Ohio State University and a MA in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. I am an inclusive counselor, an LPC, in the state of Texas and a National Certified Counselor through the NBCC. I see see adolescents and adults specializing in trauma and addiction.
I believe healing takes place in an environment where you feel genuinely seen, safe, and supported. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, with a focus on creating a space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace and without judgment.
I specialize in supporting adults as they work through the lasting impact of past trauma, including early attachment wounds, parentification, and growing up with a parent who experienced mental health challenges. I also work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and personality-related concerns, helping them deepen their understanding of their emotions and develop practical tools to foster greater stability, clarity, and ease.
My goal is to support you in reconnecting with yourself, strengthening your relationships, and building a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and fulfilling.
I've been working with individuals and families for about 3 years. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Texas, and I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University. I have a good understanding of neurodivergent needs in both adolescents and adults, and I’ve also helped people manage mood disorders, anxiety, and self-harm. As a proud member of the LGBTQI+ community, I bring my personal experience and insights to my work with queer clients.
It is no longer acceptable to suffer in silence. Regardless of your age, your friends, your family and what your peers may say, asking for help takes a lot more courage than suffering in silence. There is no shame in taking control of your life and making the courageous decision to want and expect more joy and peace in your life. I believe in empowering individuals to take inventory and control of their lives. Things can always be better and it is up to you to determine when, where and what that looks like. It is my joy and responsibility to help bring about the ‘how.'
I am passionate about helping adolescents, individuals, couples and families find their inner strengths to bring about the change they want in their lives through a wide variety of evidence-based theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and others.
The therapeutic process is an amazing journey of personal growth and insight. You are the captain of your ship. The beginning of your new journey can start today.
