Hi, I'm glad you're here! I'm Angela Kehm, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified Registered Art Therapist with a foundation in addiction recovery, community integration, and holistic healing. I earned my training from Southwestern College and the New Earth Institute, where I developed a deep commitment to values-driven, culturally aware care. I support individuals navigating burnout, identity shifts, and the quiet ache of disconnection—offering a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected from your partner, your purpose, your people, or even yourself, you’re not alone. Relationship stress, trauma, and carrying too much for too long can leave you feeling stuck or distant. I’m Megan, and for over a decade I’ve helped people work through relationship struggles, trauma, and disconnection in its many forms.
I have a strong passion for learning about the importance of mental health and decided to complete my graduate studies at Capella University. I graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Counseling and completed my practicum hours at a mental health hospital in San Antonio. I have been providing services to the following age groups: aged-school children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience and can offer services to the following: grief, transitions, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, attachment, relationships, and codependency. My well-rounded experience has allowed me to make connections and provide services to people from different backgrounds.
I assist with narcissistic abuse recovery, I provide a safe space for clients to explore and heal from the emotional wounds inflicted by narcissistic and antagonistic relationships. Together, we work towards understanding the impact of abuse, rebuilding self-esteem, and developing healthy coping mechanisms. My goal is to guide clients on a journey of self-discovery through psychoeducation, rebuilding mental frameworks, and developing techniques to mange and heal from the toxic behaviors and abuse of narcissistic and antagonistic people.
You are overwhelmed at work, a place where you’ve excelled. Your personal life and relationships are affected, and you don’t feel like yourself. The work stress, anxiety, and perfectionism, coupled with lack of motivation, mindless wandering, and change in confidence is getting to you. You want to find a way to feel happy, excited, and fulfilled again but there’s a blocker and you’re not sure what it is. Therapy is a safe space to explore and work through these challenges, and I’d be honored to be a part of that journey with you.
I specialize in Asian American Pacific Islander mental health, specifically anxiety, depression, intergenerational trauma, first generation, children of narcissistic/"tiger" parents, aging parents, grief, guilt/shame, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and academic/career counseling. I also work with clients in pregnancy and postpartum.
