Hello! My name is Ahxia (ah-jah) Stanton, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I obtained my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at SUNY New Paltz.
I provide holistic psychotherapy with a focus on BIPOC/ WOC, Couples, and young adults. My experience entails providing direct counseling to those struggling with anxiety, depression, and self-image. I also work with couples dealing with infidelity, newlyweds, premarital and other attachment issues that may strain a relationship.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in despair, or wondering how things got so heavy, you’re not alone. Reaching out for support can feel like one of the hardest steps—but it can also be the beginning of real change. I’m here to walk that path with you.
I’m a licensed mental health counselor serving clients across New York through telehealth. I specialize in working with individuals navigating substance use, depression, and anxiety. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling hopeless or discouraged, unsure if things can truly get better. Together, we focus on rebuilding hope, strengthening resilience, and creating practical steps toward the life you want.
My approach is caring, direct, and encouraging. I believe in meeting you with compassion while also gently challenging you to grow. Therapy with me is a space where you can be honest about your struggles without judgment—and also be reminded of your strengths. Your challenges do not define you. They are part of your story, but they are not the whole story.
I entered the mental health field because I genuinely wanted to make a difference. I want people to know they are not alone and that mental health challenges don’t have to prevent them from succeeding, growing, or reaching their goals. Change is possible. Healing is possible. And you are capable of more than you may feel right now.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with God, being with my family, and crafting—activities that keep me grounded and connected. I bring that same sense of presence and authenticity into the therapy space.
If you’re ready to regain your hope, strength, and resilience, I would be honored to support you. Let’s take the next step together
I have had extensive experience with trauma in individuals from adolescence to late adulthood. I believe that trauma looks and feels different to every person. Two people experiencing the same event will have different outlooks and understandings of it. A traumatic event can take many forms. I want to help you pick up on where your thoughts, feelings and behaviors come from, even if you have never experienced “trauma".
My name is Ranjana Srinivasan and I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in both New York and New Jersey. I obtained my doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Columbia University and currently work within the New York City hospital network. I have extensive experience working with a wide range of diverse populations and clinical presentations. I have obtained specialized training in addressing various symptomatology including but not limited to identity based and event based trauma, depression, anxiety, body image and postpartum transitions. I work with individuals to assist them in building insight that will help them get closer to their clinical goals.
I have worked with individuals, for the past 10+ years, from all different walks of life and facing different experiences including depression, anxiety, addiction, mood disorders, trauma, stress management and more.
