These challenging times can strain our abilities to cope. You may find you are more fatigued or more irritable; many are feeling the stress in important relationships. It has been an especially difficult time for children and teens, and their parents. It's a good time to get some support. I believe that healing starts with self compassion. I can help you to cultivate a compassionate curiosity that honors your strengths and explores the areas where you would like to change and grow.
Good therapy should, at its core, feel like talking with a friend and that’s the kind of therapist I strive to be. Therapy is a two-way street - the best results are achieved when you are in the driver’s seat. But sometimes we all need someone to help us steer when the storm rolls in. Someone to help you figure out where you are on the map and then help you get where you want to go. I want to be that person for my clients
Hi there and welcome. Congratulations on taking this step for you. My name is Sarah and I am a therapist. About me: I have a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and have extensive experience working with childhood trauma (sexual, physical, emotional abuse and neglect). I am also well versed in treating anxiety disorders (generalized, social, phobias, and OCD). I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and utilize a Psychodynamic and ACT centered approach. When behaviors need to be targeted, I utilize Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy and habit reversal principles.
Hi, I'm Yumi. I'm an Asian American psychotherapist and offer online therapy/telehealth in New York and Michigan. I'm in network with a few insurance plans.
I’ve spent most of my professional life working to promote social justice and trauma-informed care in the areas of mental health, child welfare, juvenile justice, education/disability rights, LGBTQIA+ rights, and services for the unhoused.
Soul searching during the COVID-19 pandemic shifted my "why." After several years in policy and program development & implementation, I've returned to what I trained for: 1-on-1 work with adults. I work with lots of folks who identify as Asian/Asian American, POC/BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, 1st/2nd generation immigrants, 1st generation college students, and introverts. I work with people grappling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and issues related to identity or low self-acceptance/self-compassion. But, I enjoy working with adults of all ages and from all backgrounds and walks of life.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. My priority is to help you achieve wellbeing in your relational, emotional, and mental health. I look forward to connecting with you on your goals for therapy, and how we can achieve them together!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, teens, young adults navigating life transitions, adults, couples, and families of all backgrounds. I am passionate about helping individuals and families move toward the lives they want to build, and I especially enjoy working with children - teaching skills and laying a strong foundation they can rely on when challenges arise.
I obtained my Master's Degree from Canisus University in 2013 and have been working with diverse populations.
In learning about one’s personal strengths I utilize that information to assist in the healing process exploring what you would like to see different in your life and explore options in our journey together. I assist individuals to find new ways to cope, function and learn to let go of behaviors that are no longer serving their best interests.
