I have had extensive experience with trauma in individuals from adolescence to late adulthood. I believe that trauma looks and feels different to every person. Two people experiencing the same event will have different outlooks and understandings of it. A traumatic event can take many forms. I want to help you pick up on where your thoughts, feelings and behaviors come from, even if you have never experienced “trauma".
My business works with individuals to address feelings of depression, low self-esteem, self-worth and more. I assist in providing clarity in your thought processes, offer guidance and support towards your self-directed goals.
My clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed and isolated in their experiences, but after working together, they often feel more empowered and less alone. My Caribbean heritage has shaped my worldview and instilled in me a strong sense of compassion. By drawing on the wisdom of our ancestors and the strength of our communities, we can navigate life's challenges with resilience and hope. I specialize in supporting clients who feel as if they are barely holding it together.
Thanks for visiting my page, I am glad you are here. I’ve spent more than 15 years supporting individuals of all ages and families through life’s toughest and most meaningful transitions. I specialize in trauma, grief, maternal mental health, postpartum support, anxiety, and life challenges. As a long time school social worker, I also love working with teens, young adults, and parents navigating stress, anxiety, identity, impulse control, ADHD, and the emotional impact of today’s digital world—including screen use overwhelm.
A lot of the people I work with describe feeling like they’ve been “holding everything together” but falling through the cracks themselves. Whether you’re a new parent, a caregiver, a teenager struggling to find direction, or someone facing loss or major change—you don’t have to do this alone.
Hi, my name is Juliana! I have been in practice for 3 years, working to help my clients better understand their experiences, and more effectively navigate intimate relationships and daily life. I take an eclectic approach to assisting clients, which can be tailored to clients unique needs and personality styles.
Hi there! I'm Michelle, a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals achieve emotional well-being. With a background as a Mental Health Counselor from Touro College, I specialize in providing personalized therapy services for children to young adults.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Bilingual School Psychologist with 17 years of psychotherapy experience and 20 years working as a school psychologist. This background gives me a deep understanding of how emotional patterns develop across childhood, adolescence, and adulthood, and how past experiences continue to shape a person’s current challenges.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 20 years in the corporate sector. That experience allows me to understand the pressures, expectations, and identity struggles faced by working professionals, especially those dealing with anxiety, burnout, and relationship stress.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity‐related concerns. I work effectively with millennials, Gen Z, Gen X, and baby boomers — anyone navigating change, uncertainty, or a sense of not fitting in. Born and raised in New York City, I bring a grounded, compassionate, and down‐to‐earth presence to therapy. I offer sessions in both English and Spanish and strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore, heal, and grow.
