My clients seek to understand and accept themselves and their life experiences. Together we will explore how your past is impacting your present, so you can ultimately move toward a better future.
I work with individuals, couples and families from an attachment and systems perspective, knowing we experience many wounds through relationships but through the right relationships we can also experience healing.
It is important in my work that I allow the client's cultural context inform my treatment.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Florida International University. I obtained a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University and completed both a master’s and doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Albizu University. I gained predoctoral internship training at University of Central Florida and a postdoctoral fellowship at Jackson Health System in affiliation with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
I love serving others by finding the root of their issues so they can actually feel better. It’s really the most rewarding thing I do. Where most mental health practitioners fail, I can succeed!
I think helping in just in my blood. I come from a family of public servants so it was just ingrained in me to serve others. Thankfully combining functional medicine and psychology can help me do just that.
I am pretty lucky that my passion for helping others has translated into a thriving practice!
