I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in both California and Idaho. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from San Diego State University and have more than 20 years of experience working in the behavioral health field in both direct practice and administration. In my 9 years of therapy work, I specialize in supporting adults and older adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, and other emotional or life difficulties.
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 10 years of experience helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and major life stressors. I specialize in working with individuals recovering from narcissistic abuse, high-conflict relationships, complex trauma, and chronic overwhelm.
I believe therapy should be a space where you don’t have to carry the harder parts of life alone. Trauma doesn’t just live in our thoughts — it can become stored in the nervous system and show up in the way we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. Because of this, insight alone is often not enough for lasting healing.
I integrate EMDR, attachment-focused therapy, parts work, and nervous system regulation techniques to help clients process painful experiences, better understand themselves, and feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in their daily lives.

My Training
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and a graduate of the PGSP–Stanford Psy.D. Consortium, a program known for its rigorous academic training and emphasis on evidence-based care. There, I received instruction and mentorship from some of the leading clinicians and researchers in the country. My practice draws on specialized training and extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, and comprehensive psychological assessment.
My Approach to Therapy
My clinical approach is focused, compassionate, and results-oriented. I work actively with clients to identify what’s holding them back, and to build the tools and insight needed to move forward with clarity and confidence. For individuals, I use CBT to help shift unhelpful thought and behavior patterns. For couples, I use EFT to deepen emotional connection, improve communication, and restore trust. Whether I’m working with a client facing anxiety, burnout, or relationship conflict, my aim is always the same: to help you reconnect with your strength, values, and capacity for meaningful change.
My Professional Background
Before becoming a psychologist, I served as a U.S. Marine Corps officer, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Leading diverse teams in high-stress environments taught me how to connect across differences—with people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and personalities. That experience continues to shape my work today. I bring a grounded, nonjudgmental presence to therapy, and I take seriously the responsibility of earning each client’s trust. My passion—both then and now—is helping individuals become the strongest, most authentic version of themselves.
I’m a California Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) and have a certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C). Before I was a therapist, I worked as a preschool teacher. I was drawn to clinical work because of the struggles that I observed in the families of the children in my classrooms. During my clinical training, I worked primarily with couples, teens, and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Though I love working with children, I am passionate about my work with adults because healthy, supported, and self-compassionate adults are the key to health for future generations.
Clients should know that I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can feel safe to be themselves. I specialize in working with women, adolescents, and children, as well as individuals impacted by the child welfare system, including foster care, adoption, and family separation. I understand how trauma, attachment disruptions, and life transitions can shape emotions, relationships, and self-worth.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I aim to help clients feel heard and understood while also offering tools and strategies they can use in their daily lives. I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs and developmental stage, meeting them where they are and moving at a pace that feels comfortable.
I value building strong, trusting relationships and believe that healing happens through connection, insight, and consistent support. My goal is to help clients strengthen resilience, gain clarity, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges.
