As a licensed marriage and family therapist in CA with a MA in Clinical Psychology, I have been in practice for over twelve years.
I graduated from UCLA's Social Welfare program and developed a specialty working with adolescents, teens, parents, teachers and school administrators via the LAUSD public school system. Over the course of 15 years, I have developed an expertise in utilizing a trauma-informed lens and attachment theory to address treatment areas such as trauma, depression, parenting, parent-child relationships, behavioral issues and anxiety.
My approach to clients is to see them both as individuals and also within the systems they operate in: familial, community, work-related, societal, or other. I help clients address personal issues in the context of their interpersonal relationships. I strive to support my clients in bringing to light their impact on others, and others’ impact on them while giving clients the skills to heal relational wounds and build healthier, meaningful connections. I work to help her clients connect with their values and find joy.
I am a holistic practitioner. I am empathic and non-judgmental. With intentional attention to your disclosure, I will approach your issues at various angles to help you set your goals, go at your pace and support you to achieve them. I have had over two decades of experience with various populations. I love to see changes take place whether through "aha" moments or life altering realizations. I consider walking with you through your metamorphosis a privilege.
