My Training
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and a graduate of the PGSP–Stanford Psy.D. Consortium, a program known for its rigorous academic training and emphasis on evidence-based care. There, I received instruction and mentorship from some of the leading clinicians and researchers in the country. My practice draws on specialized training and extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, and comprehensive psychological assessment.
My Approach to Therapy
My clinical approach is focused, compassionate, and results-oriented. I work actively with clients to identify what’s holding them back, and to build the tools and insight needed to move forward with clarity and confidence. For individuals, I use CBT to help shift unhelpful thought and behavior patterns. For couples, I use EFT to deepen emotional connection, improve communication, and restore trust. Whether I’m working with a client facing anxiety, burnout, or relationship conflict, my aim is always the same: to help you reconnect with your strength, values, and capacity for meaningful change.
My Professional Background
Before becoming a psychologist, I served as a U.S. Marine Corps officer, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Leading diverse teams in high-stress environments taught me how to connect across differences—with people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and personalities. That experience continues to shape my work today. I bring a grounded, nonjudgmental presence to therapy, and I take seriously the responsibility of earning each client’s trust. My passion—both then and now—is helping individuals become the strongest, most authentic version of themselves.
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a strong background in both mental health and critical care nursing. I’m calm, practical, and used to helping people through high-stress situations. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders. Reaching out for support takes great courage and I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while we work together toward meaningful healing and growth.
Are you tired of feeling stuck in the same cycles of anxiety, depression, or conflict that keep you from feeling truly present in your life? I help individuals and couples who are ready for change—whether you're navigating mood disorders, relationship struggles, or intense family issues. With a strong background in anger management and addressing complex topics like sexual disorders, I offer a safe, confidential space to work through challenges. As a parent and a grandmother, and having served as a child custody mediator, I bring a wealth of real-world experience to issues like co-parenting and visitation planning. I also specialize in empowering women who are survivors of domestic violence, helping you move from a place of survival to one of strength and stability. Let's work together to create the sustainable change you deserve.

Hi there! My name is Dr. Catherine Nash and I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience supporting adult individuals from diverse backgrounds. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, women’s mental health, and other psychological challenges with a holistic, person-centered approach to therapy, promoting overall health and wellness.
I’ve always been fascinated by the connection between mental health and overall well-being, which led me to pursue a career in psychology. My passion for serving underserved populations grew through experiences in behavioral medicine within an integrated primary care model, where I saw the profound impact of mental health on overall health. Over time, I’ve focused my practice on women’s mental health, addressing trauma, emotional well-being, and co-occurring conditions.
