I have 15+ years in the psychiatric-mental health field. I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and have an additional certification in treating clients with addiction (CARN-AP).
Hi! I’m Molly Pritchard, PMHNP-BC — founder and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Rivers Psychiatry & Wellness, with more than 10 years of experience in healthcare.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a wide variety of healthcare settings such as emergency nursing, critical care, psychiatric nursing, pediatrics, nursing education, and travel nursing. While each experience was unique, they all shared a common thread - caring for individuals during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. These experiences helped me develop a deep appreciation for the complexity of mental health and the importance of compassionate, individualized care, and they continue to shape the way I practice today!
You should know that I truly see you — not just your symptoms or diagnosis. Many clients come to me feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, scattered, or stuck — often after feeling unheard or dismissed by other providers. My goal is to understand the full picture — your goals, challenges, and values — and create a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout your care. I work with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and other psychiatric concerns.
I combine evidence-based psychiatry with a holistic, personal touch. Care with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and never rushed. I don’t push medications or rely on quick fixes — I work with you to find clarity, balance, and lasting relief through treatment that fits your life.
I bring both professional expertise and genuine empathy to my work. Having navigated my own experiences with immigration, career changes and motherhood, I understand how destabilizing major life transitions can be. Those experiences shape how I show up for patients. I believe people do best when they feel truly seen, heard, and supported. My approach is integrative and individualized, grounded in evidence based care while also guided by curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story and capacity for growth.
My focus is on psychiatric medication management, including diagnosis and ongoing care for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and related concerns. I do not provide weekly or primary psychotherapy, and may not be the best fit if you are seeking therapy-only services. If you are looking for ongoing talk therapy, I encourage you to select a licensed therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD) whose profile and approach best meet your needs.
Notice for New Jersey Clients: Due to current New Jersey law, stimulant medications cannot be prescribed without an in-person assessment. Because my practice is exclusively online, I am unable to prescribe these medications. I am, however, happy to help you explore non-controlled medication options for ADHD and other supportive strategies.
Please also note: I do not offer medical marijuana evaluations or cards.

A bit about my background: I’m a graduate of Wilkes University, and most of my nursing career has been dedicated to addiction and mental health. I decided to become a PMHNP because I wanted to make a bigger impact for my patients. In my first year as a PMHNP, I helped launch an MAT program and served as the main provider. Today, my practice focuses on mental health, and I plan to expand addiction services in the future.
