Hi, I’m Lorraine Nxumalo, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Thank you for trusting me with your mental health care. My priority is to offer compassionate, evidence-based support tailored to your needs. I strive to create a positive, trusting environment where you feel safe to share openly about your experiences and challenges. Together, we’ll work honestly and transparently to develop a treatment plan that prioritizes your well-being and safety.
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a strong background in both mental health and critical care nursing. I’m calm, practical, and used to helping people through high-stress situations. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders. Reaching out for support takes great courage and I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while we work together toward meaningful healing and growth.
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I am dedicated to providing compassionate, nonjudgmental, and evidence-based mental health care. I specialize in treating individuals living with depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders through a seamless blend of psychotherapy and comprehensive medication management.
I earned my master’s degree with honors from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. I bring 11 years of evidence-based clinical experience, including 8 years with the California Department of Corrections and 5 years in inpatient SUD care as an RN. For the past 3 years as a practitioner, I have specialized in virtually treating psychiatric crises, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, dual-diagnosis, and depression.
In my practice, I combine integrative and holistic modalities to deliver transparent, patient-centered care. I am deeply committed to honoring each client's unique identity, values, and cultural beliefs, partnering with you to advocate for your well-being and support your journey toward lasting recovery.
My name is Journey Gulles, and I am a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. I’ve been in nursing for almost two decades, with experience caring for patients in the Philippines, the Middle East, and the United States. Providing compassionate, patient-centered care is truly my passion, and I always strive to make sure people receive the best care possible. I also enjoy teaching as a part-time theory and clinical nursing instructor at colleges and universities in California. When I’m not working, I love spending time cooking at home and caring for my four fur babies.
Welcome!
